Promote Any MLM Or Affiliate Program With Free E-Books

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Viral promotions are one the best methods of marketing a product or service online. One of the easiest viral marketing methods is the use of giving away free ebooks that contain valuable information. Enticing a prospect with free information on the front offers a non-confrontational method to get your prospect to take action. It builds a trusting relationship with your customer as you communicate with them in the e-book and future follow-up messages. Due to this fact they are more likely to purchase from you in the future as opposed to just promoting your product or service on the front end.

People come to the Internet to learn and research topics. However, the Internet is crammed with advertising. Everywhere you go you’ll find advertising. You see advertisements in the form of pop-ups, pop unders, banners, classifieds, articles, text links, spam, etc. People are bombarded with advertising hype every minute of every day when online. When you capture an interested customer offer them a free e-book on the subject matter in exchange for their e-mail address. This is non-committal and easy. You are not screaming, “BUY MY PRODUCT” but saying, “try this free information for your e-mail address”. You are giving the customer a chance to see for himself or herself if what you have is what they want.

For example, say you are selling web hosting. Offer a 5-10 page e-book on how to pick the best web hosting services. Within this free e-book have your affiliate links embedded in the text of the e-book. You will come across as an authority on the subject matter and they will begin to trust your recommendation. Thus, they will eventually buy from you.

Viral marketing is a great way to build your mailing list. Once the customer has given you their e-mail address and received their free e-book, you can then send them follow-up e-mails on the subject matter through your autoresponder and eventually funnel them into one of your affiliate programs.

Offering something free on the front end of a sale is an old method to gain customer loyalty and trust. It has been used for hundreds of years and is a proven method to grow a business. Remember to write something of value and at no cost. There are also products out there that have already been written that you can get for a few bucks. You can look at Reprint Right sites, Public Domain or look around within the market niche you are trying to penetrate and see if someone is already doing this. You can then use theirs a template (don;t ever copy!) and re-write it adding in your own element, different benefits and tips and tricks.

Professional Web Hosting vs. Free Web Hosting

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Both free and professional web hosting have their benefits and down sides. However, before the best type of web solution can be found the webmaster will need to consider the main motivator for the website.

For those looking for a home page, hobby site, or non-profit website a free hosting service will provide the basics of what is needed at just the right price- free. Although a free website will not provide a professional scene for a business, or a webmaster looking for credibility, as unfortunately free services look very “cheap” then little else can be expected from something that costs nothing.

A free website will offer webmaster’s free templates for the design of the website, and helpful wizards that take the webmaster step by step through the uploading process. Often a free service may offer free domain names and email facilities with their package.

Customer service is often included, although how good the service is will often vary. The biggest problem with a free service is, the amount of traffic onto the sight may be limited, and the sizes of the files being transported may also be limited. Free hosting companies often experience a lot of down time, so they can at times be unreliable.

Because the site is free, the hosting company may very well be relying on sponsors in the way of banner ads to keep the company in business. If this is the case, setting up a business with flashing banners will really cramp your style, credibility, and scare away potential customers.

Paid services are used by webmasters to keep things running smoothly in business, what this means is the good web hosting companies will provide excellent customer service, and have plenty of happy customers who are willing to add their testimonies. Professional companies will usually offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, live chats, and telephone services for customers experiencing difficulties.

Many professional companies will also offer discounts and bonuses for your business, and reward you for paying early. Other things that a professional web hosting company will offer is ample web space, and disk space. Often large amounts of uptime will be guaranteed, and sometimes failure to keep this amount of uptime will result in compensation from company to their clients.

Professional services may cost money, but the service is far more advanced, and professional companies never take space from their customers in order to place their paid advertisements on. Depending on what a customer is looking for when they create a website, will have a lot of bearing on their choice of providers. For a webmaster that is creating a credible business venture, a professional web hosting plan is vital to business success.

Productivity Linked To Clean Desks

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

It may not be a surprise that recent studies have shown that people with clean desks tend to be, well, more productive. Thirty-three percent more productive to be exact. Is it because they have less work to clutter up their desktops? Hardly. The study also measured productivity in relation to organization skills and those who stay better organized, not only have tidier offices, but they also waste less time looking for things through piles of disorganized paperwork and more time getting their work done.

Whether you’re naturally neat and clean or messy may have a lot to do with how you were raised and whether you are a right- or left-brained thinker. But that doesn’t mean that your genes need to dictate how productive you can be. There are several ways to tidy up that workspace and here are some tips to help you get started even if you’re a complete pack rat.

First, focus on keeping your desk clean. Lots of workspace will help you spread out your paper work when you need to, without losing papers, misplacing things, forgetting documents or misfiling the wrong items together. Start by freeing up some desktop space by getting that bulky computer monitor off the desk. A monitor arm, mounted to the side or back of your desk, will not only give you about twenty-five percent more room to work, it’ll also allow you to tilt your monitor to control glare.

Second, never, ever keep your keyboard on your desktop. If you’re still reaching up to your desktop to type on your keyboard, it’s time to move into the new millennium. Articulating keyboard trays and drawers not only give you added space, but they provide the ergonomics your body needs to prevent fatigue and other more serious conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Third, keep only the items you use often on your desk. Take a good look at some of the things you may keep within reach daily, but only use a few times a week: staplers, three-hole punches, reference books, calculators, etc. If you don’t use them every single day, put them away and take them out only when you’re working on a project that requires them.

Fourth, create files and use them. As soon as a project begins, create a file for it—even if it’s only temporary—and keep the files for your active projects close to your desk. Move all other files to a filing cabinet.

Fifth, stop using sticky notes. Nothing clutters up a workspace faster than sticky notes that tend to fall off the thing they’re supposed to be stuck to anyway. Keep a single notebook on your desk and write all pertinent information in your notebook throughout the day. If you need something, you’ll know exactly where to find it and when it’s no longer important, rip out the page and file it in the appropriate file.

With a little overhaul of your behavior and your desk, you can become much more productive and that may mean the difference between a promotion or not.

Product Sourcing Strategies – New Trends That Will Work For Your E-Biz

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Changing with the Times
In recent years, online shoppers have gotten more computer-savvy and more comfortable making purchases over the Internet. As a result, their expectations have grown. They know what they’re looking for and they have more choices, so they’re more discriminating about where they’ll shop. That’s why it’s important for online sellers to adapt the way they source products and give their customers what they want. Fortunately, some new trends have emerged in product sourcing that are ideal for the home-based retailer:

• Vertical Product Sourcing
Consumers want to buy from e-stores with specialized product lines. Lisa Suttora, of http://WhatDoISell.com, explains, “Vertical product sourcing is going very deep and very narrow into a product line. You want to focusing on those narrow niches.” For example, if you sell general home décor, you might concentrate on teen home décor or home décor made from organic materials. But make your products closely related — variety stores don’t work well online.

• Target a Demographic
Consumers want differentiation, so you, as a seller, need to look at what makes your business unique and sets it apart from every other e-store. Focus on your customer base — design your web store and word your listings to appeal to your target market. Provide them information relevant to them — if you sell old movie memorabilia, write some articles on old film stars or share behind-the-scenes tidbits that will give your customers a reason to come back to your site. Do something to add value to your web site and make it stand out.

• Cater to All Seasons
Everyone knows that snow boots sell best in the winter months and pumpkin décor sells best in the fall. But most people don’t realize that almost every product sells best at a particular time of year. You can maximize your sales by constantly adjusting your line-up to the changing seasons. For instance, if you sell tableware, start catering to wedding shoppers around June — carry certain types of silverware, napkin-holders, toasting flutes, etc.

If your core products are season-specific, find related alternatives for your standard products’ off-season. There’s no reason to lose out on sales just because it’s chilly out. If you sell lawn furniture, you might not sell a single grill in December. But you might do quite well with heat lamps, or other products for people that want to spend time enjoying the outdoors.

• Source Multiple Venues
While there’s nothing wrong with working with particular wholesalers on a regular basis, be sure you don’t get stuck in product sourcing rut. If you’re not utilizing the many available product channels, you’re not making the connections you need or exposing yourself to the many highly specialized products you may not even realize are out there.

Consider integrating localized sourcing. Many brick-and-mortar stores in your area may be interested in having an online presence but be unsure of how to get started. Says Suttora, “This represents an opportunity for eCommerce sellers who work from home or out of their office, to partner with these other companies; and doing so can greatly increase your income.” Beyond that, it’s a great way to strengthen your product line without increasing your overhead.

Product Sourcing For Wholesale Suppliers And Distributors

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Attending Trade Shows Yourself

Trade shows are a very good way to come out with a lot of information about a lot of different companies selling products. Be prepared when you attend a trade show by knowing what your market research has shown you about specific products for your niche. While you are there pick up anything you do not know much about and research it later, you may run into an idea. Trade shows are typically held at a convention center in most major cities throughout the world and the dates of these events can be found at export.gov/tradeevents.html

Buying Information from a Product Sourcing Expert

If you do not have the time or money to attend trade shows you may want to consider sourcing products from a product sourcing expert. This is a very flexible method because you can get immediate information on wholesale suppliers and distributors for certain types of products with specific shipping methods. When searching for a product sourcing expert you want to consider how credible their sources are. How far their reach is and how much information they can offer you. Some product sourcing experts may only have sourced products in certain markets and may have some really good suppliers in mind for that market but fail to support anything else related. From my website is a link labeled product sourcing in the navigation bar which can tell you the top 5 things you need to know about product sourcing.

Contacting Wholesale Suppliers

If you are not used to contacting suppliers and knowing what questions to ask then you may want to practice on some companies you have found at trade shows that you don’t really care to do business with. The two most important questions to ask when contacting a wholesale supplier are:

What shipping methods are offered?

What are your products prices?

Always be professional sounding and never to casual and relaxed. Being prompt and to the point lets them know that this is about business and you are not wasting their time. Sending a letter or an email after you have contacted these wholesale suppliers lets them remember you and can give you positive recommendations for your better suppliers.

Problem Solving Systems

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

When you have an E-commerce inventory based business, you are going to have customer issues.  That itself is undisputed fact, the sooner you realize it the better.  Items or parts will be broken or missing.  The shipper is going to damage something. Or the customer is not going to like something and they are going to tell you that it’s all your fault.  When I first started selling in E-commerce; this use to really bother me a lot.  After doing some research I found out that it is a normal part of business.  You simply cannot make everyone happy all of the time.  So how do you deal with it?  Actually you deal with it one customer at a time but you have to have a system.

Thinking through potential problems is a great way to start.  You have to actually plot it out on paper the things that could go wrong or get broken and write in a solution to fix it.  This for-thought will keep you from having the “fireman” principle.  That is, you spend a lot of your time putting out fires and stressing over them.  You do not want to get into that mode of operation.  Probably the biggest factor is a dent in your encouragement.  Realizing that these things do happen; make a big difference.  Planning for them is key.

Here is how you do it.  Take every product that you carry and look at all the parts of that product.  If you can order the individual parts or make individual parts as spare inventory, do so.  This gives you a plan in case a part is defective or damaged in the shipping process.  Have a form for your accounting that covers a replacement part cost and shipping.  You will want to track how much things cost you to replace and ship.  This can easily be forgotten if you are in the fireman mode.  Have some extra stock on hand for replacements.  Have a return shipping method laid out so that you can make return labels for the customer to attach to a box that might need to be resent back to you.  All the big shippers have this option built into their websites and you can easily go to the tracking number for that customer and get a return label.  If you have the item fulfilled through a warehouse, they also have that capability.

Make sure you put a return policy in your website that covers a restocking fee if someone wants to return something because they do not like it or ordered the wrong item.  This will also force you to think about a return policy since you will eventually have one.  Make sure you add a testimonial or two to that policy, it’s free and it’s like adding insurance onto your page.

Hopefully this article has helped you with a little thought about developing your Return or problem “system” Systems are the key to piece of mind when you are in business.  All large businesses have them and so should you

Private Label Rights & Affiliate Marketing: Fast Profits!

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Are you new to private label rights, Internet Marketing or are you unsure of what to do, or where and how to begin with any of wide options available? You’ve probably heard of Internet Marketers making lots of money online, but you don’t have the talent to write and create information products or make crafts. You’re not a programmer so you don’t know how to develop killer application software.

You can’t get into wholesale and reselling designer shoes, handbags and other fashion items because you don’t have a whole lot of money to invest. Believe it or not, you’re perfect for affiliate marketing!

You can make money of off other people’s products or services by becoming an affiliate marketer. You may not have your own product or service, but there are others out there who do exceptionally well and they’re willing to give you commissions in exchange for promoting their materials. Many companies and small business owners use affiliate marketing to sell their products for them. They provide graphics and text advertisements that affiliates can use for promoting their products or services.

You can also get private label rights and PLR content. These are the simplest and fastest way to stamp your name and market information without being an actual writer or a published author! The services are all over the Internet, but caution with the high fees.

Going back to the affiliate option, as an affiliate, you will have your own unique code or link that serves to identify you as the affiliate who made the sale of a specific affiliate marketing product.

Most affiliates today are called “publishers” because many of them have their own sites or blogs where they are promoting other people’s products. As a publisher, you can choose from the thousands of affiliate programs available and you can even devote an entire site or blog towards “pre-selling” specific products. When someone who visits your site or blog clicks on your affiliate link and buys from the merchant you’re an affiliate with a new commission. You get paid your commissions based on the terms set by the merchant.

How much money you’ll make as an affiliate depends on the commissions offered by the different merchants. For instance, someone selling a $50 e-book may offer 75% commission for every sale. Diamond merchants generally offer between 8% and 12% commission on the sale price, so you can make a handsome amount on a $5,000 diamond ring or a $10,000 bracelet.

Then there are merchants such as mortgage brokers and credit card companies that will pay you a fixed sum for referring qualified contacts or leads. There are also companies that offer continuing commissions if customers purchase membership with recurring billing (and remain a member) from your affiliate link.

Some affiliate programs have unusual terms and conditions. For instance, there are merchants who are willing to pay commissions of up to 200% of the sale price of the product. There are others that offer tiered commission structures wherein you also make a commission from sales brought in by a person who signs up as an affiliate via your affiliate link. Some companies offer tiers that are four or five levels deep.

In resume, start as an affiliate marketer advertising other people products or go the simplest and easy way with your own pen name by using private label rights and PLR content if you don’t have that mile budget, upload the site to the Internet and your kiss your competition goodbye by being persistent and constantly searching for more traffic opportunities!

Privacy Invaders: Spyware And Adware Dangers

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Do Internet Users Really Mind Big Brother Watching Them?

Let’s get real about who is watching us online. No matter where we go, someone is monitoring our visits. Does this really pose any form of danger? Is this considered a privacy rights violation? It’s simple. Protecting a computer is one of the most important aspects to a computer owner. Protection of software is often the highest importance for many users. One of the fastest ways that a computer can become corrupted is from viruses that attack the computer. Viruses can come in many forms, but is often a result of insufficient protection against software viruses. There can be, however, virus protection software that can be of poor quality, and still allow viruses to filter thru. Just as virus protection is important, so is the security information that is given on a computer.

What’s the big deal?

Your credit card numbers, bank info and social security info are easily transferred to other parties in other countries. I had a client who had the pleasure of “overhauling” his credit because his identity had been compromised (stolen) for years!

What are these programs?

Spyware (software that records every move you make online)
Adware (secretly added software, both spying and controlling)
and they both are somewhat like a virus.

Is my computer infected?

Have you ever seen your computer make a change that you did not authorize? Don’t risk it! When a computer is being used, there are many websites that can be accessed that have advertisement banners. Once a banner has been clicked on a webpage, Spyware often goes into effect. This means that the company that created the banner will track all actions that a computer user generates. This is to monitor the Internet habits of the individual. Such programs often mention that such information that is collected is often not shared, but the collection of the information alone makes Spyware and Adware a violation to the privacy of the consumer.

Is it only financially dangerous?

No. This is terribly dangerous. Everyday we see children will often give ‘their life story’ by visiting a site or leaving a simple comment. Additionally, Spyware and Adware programs are not only deceiving, but they are intrusive in the lives of those that are unaware of the hidden security dangers that lie ahead. Spending habits, times of Internet usage, and even personal information can all be gathered from Spyware and Adware manipulation. The worst form of information to be addressed with Spyware and Adware is that neither program is illegal. It’s Sad. At this time, those that distribute the programs to gather the personal information can do so without breaking any federal laws. Spyware and Adware have been and continue to be programs that can be created and distributed by any company that is seeking personal information on people. The legal injustices that are associated with both programs, and the lack of attention to the personal security of the public are what bring about many fears of personal safety for many people. There will always be those that are hesitant to use such programs.

My kids use our computer at home. We tried the FREE CHECK-UP and Bingo. We found the bug that was driving us crazy. I recommend the free check up at HTTP://WWW.FLUXBPM.COM -NOSPYWARE. This will alleviate the danger of ‘the Spyware & Adaware Scheme’

As a Spyware victim it is worth it to keep my family and business private. NOSPYWARE works.

Pricing For Dummies: How To Find What Your Item’s Worth

Posted by admin in webhosting on May 5th, 2010 |  No Comments »

Setting prices on eBay can sometimes feel like shooting while blindfolded. As convenient as it would be, no one has put together a convenient little guide you can grab to find the average price for Item X. Trying to assemble the seemingly unlimited categories and products being sold on eBay, along with the prices they typically go for, into one handy compilation would be a task that could make anyone throw their hands up in despair.

EBay Pricing Made Easy
Well, almost anyone… but author Julia Wilkinson (http://www.YardsalersEBayers.com) thought she was up to the challenge. And she’s spent the last year compiling all that information into one useful, time-saving aid, The EBay Price Guide. This paperback volume can be a tremendous resource, especially if you’re just getting started on eBay and have no idea what to expect, in terms of pricing. It provides a terrific overview—just flip through the pages and see what’s selling and for how much.

The Highlights
While not entirely exhaustive (publishers actually insisted on cutting it down by two thirds), the book contains many pertinent facts and figures:

•It covers eBay’s thirty-some top categories in the order they appear on the site and discusses standout auctions and relevant trending info.

•It lists the most popular subcategories and the fifteen high and fifteen average prices within those subcategories.

•It includes compilations of fun, interesting data, such as the top keywords from A-Z, twenty-five things you can’t sell on eBay, and the fifty top eBayers with the most feedback.

•It compares eBay prices to retail, so you can see what kind of bargains people are really getting. Wilkinson discloses, “I found a rule of thumb that people often get a bargain of about a third to half off of what they would expect to pay retail.”

Gauging Your Choices
The price guide is a great research supplement. The data was gleaned primarily from http://Hammertap.com’s DeepAnalysis research tool, using the data in the auction title and the final prices. You don’t get the product specifics, such as year and condition, so once you find your specific niche, you’ll want to do more extensive fact-finding with a tool like http://Terapeak.com or http://mpire.com. But the book can quickly put your product ideas into perspective and shave a lot of time off the top of the research process.

Whether you’re looking to buy or sell, The EBay Price Guide is a great starting point. You can keep it on your desk as a quick reference, rather than having to go sort through a lot of data online, which can be very time-consuming. Wilkinson explains, “When you’re trying to decide what you’re going to sell on eBay, you’re looking for initial numbers… so you can go into this guide and come up with a really quick idea of whether or not it’s worth doing.” Not only can you check out the products you’re considering, but you might also get ideas for products you hadn’t even thought about.
